End Ecocide Sweden together with the working group on Climate and Sustainable Development of the Christian Council of Sweden, is inviting you to be a part of Faith for Ecocide Law, an international, interreligious coalition for Ecocide as an international crime within the International Criminal Court. Ecocide law is a practical, powerful and possible option for new rules in common to respect and revere the Creation, Mother Earth. The initiative aims at gathering religious and spiritual leaders and influential voices to express support for Ecocide law and spread awareness about the issue towards upcoming UN conferences on biodiversity, climate and sustainable development.

To live in peace with each other we must live in peace with the Earth. There is growing support for Ecocide as the next crime against peace at the International Criminal Court. Ecocide means mass damage and destruction of Nature, and voices for ecocide law is speaking louder each day; from the parliaments and governments of countries like France, Belgium, Finland, Vanuatu and the Maldives, to business and trade unions, to Pope Francis who has called Ecocide an ecological sin.
